Lönnlöv som halsband

En kompis har beställt några smycken som presenter till andra. En dag bestämde hon sig för att hon själv skulle bli mottagare till ett smycke. Jag fick ganska fria händer att skapa något som var en aningen större än vad jag normalt gör.

Resultatet blev ett löv i storlek på ca 40 mm som jag har funderat på ett tag att göra. Ett litet lönnlöv plockades från ett lågväxande träd och lövets baksida pressades mot silverleran för att få alla ådringar från lövets nerver i leran.

A small maple leaf was picked som a low-growing tree rather early in the summer. I pressed the back of the leaf into the silver clay to to get all the veins from the nerves of the leaf. The result is the leaf in the picture above, size is about 40mm.
